The Great Hemp Smoothie

Delicious, full of protein, and easy to make.
Ingredients:
3 cups Oatly milk or Silk Organic Unsweetened Soy milk
6 Tbsp. hemp hearts
1 Tbsp. cacao (or cocoa) powder
1 1/2 Tbsp. maple syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups ice
Put all the ingredients in a blender, except the ice, and bend it for 30 secs. Add the ice and blend for an additional 30 secs.
Serves 3
Protein 9 grams per serving
Tips: Make a cup of coffee with 2/3 cup of water and add it to the smoothie for a coffee mocha. Fruit is also a nice addition. I particularly like 1 frozen banana, 1/3 cup dried cherries, or 1/3 cup mixed berries. For a thicker smoothie, add more ice.





An excellent smoothie! I'm drinking 3 a day to keep up my protein levels while 9mns pregnant!
