An Easy Liver Cleanse

For 1000s of years, liver cleanses, in Eastern cultures, have been done regularly to tonify the liver. In Western cultures, the standard medical establishment has not yet done enough research to prove that liver cleanses are effective. There is, however, positive research between camomile tea and liver health.
The purpose of a liver cleanse is to detox your liver and to process nutrients better. Liver cleansing is especially important for people who have drank alcohol excessively, and/or people who have grown up eating lots of processed foods. If you are eating healthy foods, and do a liver cleanse, you will absorb more of the nutrients from your food. If you would like to try a liver cleanse, here is a simple one:
Drink a cup of organic camomile tea every day for a month. Steep the tea for at least 10 minutes. If your schedule allows, drink the tea in the evening because it is relaxing, and reportedly, the tea will be more effective at that time of day. More is not better in this case. After a month, stop drinking the tea daily and allow your body time to rest from the tea.
Keep in mind, it's always a good idea to check with your doctor before trying new herbal remedies; especially if you are taking other medications where drug interactions are possible.

Completely worth it. I've done this liver cleanse several times over the years. It really works! And it allows all the omegas from raw nuts and seeds, like hemp hearts and flax meal, to be absorbed fully!
