Spit Pea Soup Extraordinaire

My son Joe came up with this recipe, he's not big on measuring so I had follow him around to get it figured out. It is one of my favorite recipes, thanks Joe!!!
Ingredients:
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 onion chopped
2 carrots chopped
3 celery chopped
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp dill
1/2 tsp rosemary
1/2 tsp marjoram
salt to taste
4 cups vegan chicken bullion
1 1/2 cups split peas
Vegan crotons (optional)
Sauté onions, carrots and celery in oil on the sauté setting in the InstaPot. Add all the spices, split peas and the chicken bullion. Stir well. Put on beans and chili setting, (approximately hour 1 hour/ Quick release when time is up.
Serves 4-6 Protein: 8 grams per 1/2 cup
Note: Enjoy your split pea soup within the first 3 days. If you have made more than you can eat in that amount of time, freeze the extra when it is fresh.
