This recipe has a few extra touches that you will appreciate. It's quick, easy and delicious.

Pizza sauce

14 ounces pizza sauce (your choice)

1/2 tsp garlic salt

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 tsp sugar

Before you start on your pizza dough, enhance your sauce with garlic salt, sugar and Italian seasoning. Let it simmer on the stove, low heat. Add water if it gets too thick.

Pizza dough

1 3/4 all purpose flour

1/2 tsp salt

1 pkg instant dried yeast

1/4 tsp garlic powder

3/4 cup warm water

1/2 tsp sugar

2 tbsp oil

Mix flour and salt. Dissolve yeast into warm water with sugar and garlic powder. Combine with the the oil and flour/salt mixture. Knead on a lightly floured flat surface until it is a dough like substance. Add more water if necessary. Sprinkle the bottom of the dough with a little flour, and put it in a bowl with a cloth on top of it to rise for at least 15 mins. Then spread the dough out on a lightly floured flat surface, roll out with a floured rolling pin. Add more flour if it becomes hard to roll. Turn it over occasionally, and roll it into a slightly larger size than the pizza pan. Spray the pizza pan with oil. Put the pizza dough on the pan and lightly oil it. Then prick the pizza dough with a fork, 3/4 inches apart. Set your oven to its highest temperature, and place the pizza dough in the oven until the pizza crust just starts to brown, about 3-6 mins.

Toppings

2 cups vegan mozzarella cheese

chop optional toppings:

onions

olives

pineapples

red peppers

artichoke hearts

spinach

mushrooms

hot peppers

Put the sauce, and the cheese, on the pizza dough. Pile on the toppings. The oven should still be on its hottest setting. Place the pizza in the oven and keep an eye on it. It usually takes around 15 minutes. The cheese will be completely melted, the toppings hot, and the crust done. Slice and enjoy!
