Delicious, Nutritious, Quick Meals Avocado Toast Fresh is best, but those avocado packets will do in a pinch. Toast the bread, mash 1/2 the avocado up, mix in you favorite salsa, spread on the toast, and enjoy. Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich I use sprouted bread when I can, 100% fruit jams, and non-hydrogenated, pure nut butters. For a really great peanut (or other nut) butter, purchase raw nuts and make your own with the omega auger. Store in the refrigerator. Tip: The oils will separate. Just mix before use.

Hot Cheese Sandwich These are quick and easy with a George Foreman grill. Put two slices of cheese in the middle of the bread, and put it on the grill. No butter or oil required. Violife mature cheddar cheese melts to perfection and gives any cheese sandwich a run for its money. I love it on sourdough bread. Fruit

Keeping an assortment of in-season fruits on hand makes an excellent snack.

Raw vegetables.

Chopping up your favorites, ready and in the fridge, makes a great quick meal. Tip: A little vegan mayo, or premade dipping sauce, gives that little extra protein and healthy fats with your raw veggies; makes them fuller feeling; and is tasty!

Salad

Pre-washed greens, topped with your favorite salad dressing, is fast and filling. For an extra treat, slice up some little tomatoes and add Violife feta cheese.

Protein Bar

An excellent snack to keep handy when you're away from the house.

Leftovers

Always convenient when you walk in hungry and want something delicious to eat.

Smoothies

A little more prep involved, but far less than the typical meal. The well made smoothie can be filling, satisfying and loaded with protein. A nutritious powerhouse of a meal. (See previous blog: The Great Hemp Smoothie)
